How to Get the Most Out of Your Barber Appointment
A great cut is a two-way job. The more you bring to the chair, the better the result walks out with you. None of it is complicated.
Come with a clear idea, or at least a photo. You do not need the barber vocabulary. A picture of the length you like on top, the sharpness you want on the sides, and how you wear your beard tells us almost everything. If you are not sure, that is fine too. Say so, and we will talk through what suits your hair and head shape.
Arrive with your hair in its normal state. Fresh from a hard wash with heavy product makes it harder to read how the hair actually falls. Clean and dry, or just as you wear it day to day, is ideal.
Speak up during the cut, not after. If the length feels off or you want the line lower, tell us while there is still hair to work with. A good barber wants the feedback. The worst outcome is you nodding along and leaving unhappy.
Finally, ask how to hold the look at home. The right product, the right amount, and the right rhythm of return visits are what keep the cut sharp long after you leave. Two minutes of advice in the chair saves weeks of guesswork in the mirror.
